IMPORTANT ARF NOTICES THAT NEED TO BE UNDERSTOOD:

Notice 1:

Only those individuals who have ARF-registered dogs will be shown on the ARF web site; however, if their dogs have not been ARF-registered, they will have ten [10] business days, BEGINNING the day after the Show, in which to do so. This is only if they wish to see themselves and their dogs posted on our ARF web site – www.arfshow.com . After this ten [10] business day period, their dogs will not ever be shown on our web site, for this particular Show, but will have to wait until the next Show event.

Notice 2:

For each Show participant to have ARF recognize and record their dog’s "Points" and "Titles", their dog must be ARF-registered. Again, if their dog is not ARF-registered, they will have ten [10] business days to do so, same as stated.

Notice 3:

ARF will take the above information, supplied by the Show Sponsor, to "CERTIFY" that the above Show was conducted in accordance with "Animal Research Foundation’s Code of Ethics for Authorized ARF-Sanctioned Judges", against any possible corruption (unscrupulous, or uninformed, ARF Show practices).

Here is an ARF list of unacceptable practices, for an Authorized ARF-Sanctioned Show Sponsor and/or an ARF-Sanctioned Judge; these practices include, but are not limited to, the following:

ARF Judges will not judge any dog(s) from his/her own kennel.

ARF Judges will not judge any dog(s) sold from his/her kennel.

ARF Judges will not judge any dogs(s) entered by an individual with whom the ARF Judge may have a financial interest in their dog(s), and/or their kennel.

ARF Judges will not judge any dog(s) that are owned by other ARF Judges.

ARF Judges will not judge any dog(s) that are owned by the ARF-Sanctioned Show Organizer.

ARF Judges will not judge any dog(s) that have been purchased from an ARF-
Sanctioned Show Organizer.

ARF Judges will not accept any form of payment, and/ortrade, or any other form of prearranged deals to judge a certain individual’s dog(s).

ARF Judges will not accept any form of payment, and/or trade,or any other form of prearranged deals to judge a certain ARF-Sanctioned Show Sponsor’s dog(s).

The ARF-Authorized Judge will not enter his/her dog(s) into an
ARF-Authorized Show Ring, where he/she is a participating ARF-Sanctioned Judge.

An ARF-Authorized Show Sponsor may not, under any circumstances, enter his/her own dog(s) into an ARF-Authorized Show Ring.

If any of the above is determined to be found true, ARF reserves the right to do any, or all, of the following:

        1. Disqualify the dog(s), and/or

        2. Disqualify the ARF Participant(s), and/or

3. Disqualify the ARF Judge(s), and/or

4. Disqualify the ARF-Sanctioned Show Sponsor(s), and/or

5. Disqualify the entire ARF-Sanctioned Show.

Notice 4:

In the event an "ARF Show Score Sheet" reveals that there was any expressed-or-implied mutual influence [i.e., a "Buddy" or "Good-Ol’-Boy" judging system] in practice with other Judges’, and/or with the Sponsor’s dog(s), to earn "Points", and/or "Titles", all such Judges’, and/or Sponsor’s dogs, entered into the above-mentioned Show, will be striped of "Points, and/or "Titles", from this Show; they will not receive any ARF credit, or any ARF recognition.

Therefore, if any ARF Show Judge’s name is found to be on an "ARF Show Score Sheet", of a dog belonging to another ARF Show Judge, and/or the ARF Show Sponsor, that dog will be disqualified, and will be treated as if the dog had not entered the Show, and/or as if the dog was being used for Judge practicing only.

It has been the goal of the ARF to conduct a "fair", "impartial", and "just" dog show [treating people the way we wish to be treated]. We have found people to be very intelligent, whether they are watching the dog show, or whether they are participating in the dog show. It does not take one long to find out whose dogs are winning and whose dogs are not. Therefore, when people believe they are not being treated equally, they will not come back to participate in another Show. This is why we have "ARF Post Show Requirements", to "Certify" that the Dog Show that we ARF-sanctioned measured up.
