NOTICE OF ARF COMMON LAW COPYRIGHT & PURCHASER/MEMBER AGREEMENT

All rights of reference remain the intellectual property of the Animal Research Foundation.  Through your ARF purchase, the Animal Research Foundation grants you a personal and nonexclusive use of its intellectual property.  You may not make copies of the information contained therein, whether printed or electronic format.  Such copying would be in violation of an extensive body of law at both the state and federal levels related to intellectual property. [Specifically, trademark law protects words, names, images, or any combination thereof to a particular product or service being sold.  Moreover, Section 43 of the Lanham Act protects the public from false and misleading advertising claims that are likely to cause confusion among viewers of an advertisement.]  Further, you may not modify, adapt, disassemble, decompile, translate, create derivative works of, or in any way reverse engineer the intellectual property of the Animal Research Foundation.  You may not export or re-export, directly or indirectly, without compliance with appropriate governmental regulations.  All received intellectual property contains Animal Research Foundation’s confidential and proprietary information which you agree to take steps to protect from unauthorized disclosure or use.  This ARF Membership agreement is effective until terminated.  This agreement terminates without notice from the Animal Research Foundation if you fail to comply with any provisions of the agreement.

Your acceptance, of this ARF Membership, deems that you accept the terms of this ARF Membership  agreement.  If you do not agree with these terms, you may cancel this membership agreement within 10 business days of mailing, to the Animal Research Foundation, and your membership purchase fee will be refunded in full.

To use ARF intellectual property, for public benefit, it will be necessary for the purchaser/member to contact the Animal Research Foundation business office to obtain written permission.   Without a written permission, the purchaser/member will be in direct violation of NOTICE OF ARF COMMON LAW COPYRIGHT &/or PURCHASER/MEMBER AGREEMENT.  All common law contracts are held in strict confidentiality.  ARF trustees have made an explicit reservation of their rights, pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code, Section 1-207; to contact the Animal Research Foundation, you can write the Animal Research Foundation, Non-Domestic U.S., C/o 11182 Highway 34 South, Quinlan, Texas TPZ 75474.  Or you can call 903.356.2267, of fax 903.356.3078.
