IMPORTANT ARF CONSIDERATIONS
If your Canine was sold to you, as "Pet
Quality", it is understood that your pet’s "ARF Certificate of
Registration" will indicate your Canine has been "spayed" or
"neutered".
Deceased Canines cannot and will not receive an "ARF Certificate of
Registration".
If your Canine was registered with an "Unapproved Registry/Club", you should understand that your pet cannot be ARF-registered. ARF-approved Registries/Clubs consist of the following: The "American Kennel Club [AKC]", the "Australian National Kennel Council [ANKC]", the "American Bulldog Association [ABA]", the "National Kennel Club [NKC]", the "United Kennel Club [UKC]", the "Canadian Kennel Club [CKC]", the "National Stock Dog Registry [NSDR]", the "Federation Cynologique Internationale [FCI]" , the "English Shepherd Club of America [ESCOA]", the "National Association of Louisiana Catahoulas [NALC]", the "World-Wide Kennel Club [WWKC]", the "Australian Shepherd Club of America [ASCA]", the "American International Border Collie [AIBC]" , the "American Border Collie [ABC]", the "American Border Collie Association [ABCA]", the "International Stock Dog Society [ISDS]", the "North American Sheep Dog Society [NASDS]", the "Olde English Bulldogge Association [OEBA]"; also, any Canine whose pedigree can be verified in the ARF ancestral stud books, and by "ARF Application for Merit Pedigree, can obtain an "ARF Certificate of Registration".
It is further understood, by you, the applicant, that if any discrepancies are discovered in your "ARF Application for Double Registration", and "ARF Application for Double Registration Addendum", it will be returned to you, without a refund; however, you can reapply by filling out another "ARF Application for Double Registration" and "ARF Application for Double Registration Addendum", and provide the correct documents with your ARF Application forms, along with another $50.00 ARF Application Registration Fee. Further, if an ARF Certificate of Registration was issued to you, the Owner, and a discrepancy is found, you will be notified of the discrepancy, and be allowed to correct the matter within 10 days of the notice. If not corrected within ten [10] days, the "ARF Certificate of Registration" will become void, and no litters will be ARF-registered, without an ARF-assigned Registration Number.
The "Owner" will note that we do not enter into any "Civil Disputes" between the "Breeder" and the Owner [a/k/a the Buyer]. Our only concern is with the Canine being ARF-registered; if the Breeder has a problem with the Canine Owner, the burden is upon the Breeder to enforce his/her "Contract", and/or "Agreement". Afterwards, ARF will adhere to all the legal matters that were attached to the above-said Canine.
It is understood, that, if you, the Canine owner, choose to become an ARF Certified Breeder, you will abide by these stipulations, and that you will not register your Canines, nor allow your Canines to be registered, with any other organization, than the ARF. This fact shall be stated in your sales contract.
It is understood, that you, the applicant, will abide with "ARF’s Code of Ethics" and "ARF Policy and Registration Procedures".
It is understood, that you, the applicant, will stamp all "ARF CERTIFIED PEDIGREES" [the litter’s puppy papers], in RED INK, the words "BREEDABLE" or "UNBREEDABLE", in addition with checking the boxes –
a. If this animal is not to be used for breeding purposes, please indicate that it is to be Spayed ___ Neutered ___ .
b. NO BREEDING PERMITTED: Limited Registration Involved; see details on reverse side of this pedigree.
It is understood, there will be no restrictions placed on the "ARF Certificate of Registration", unless indicated on the "ARF Certified Pedigree". Further, the Animal Research Foundation [ARF] is not responsible for any health disorders or genetic problems that may or may not be detectable in the Sire, Dam, or Litter. The Breeder and the Buyer assume ALL responsibility in all sales, guarantees, conditions of sale, etc., expressed or implied. THE ANIMAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION IS NOT A PARTY TO SUCH AGREEMENTS!
ARF, was founded in 1947, upon biblical
principles, to be of service to our God, and to our fellowman; therefore, as stewards of what God
has entrusted to us, we believe in taking responsibility for the health, care,
and welfare of every animal God has entrusted to us. With this commitment in
mind, we ask that all ARF breeders write into their sales contact a "rescue
policy"; whereas, if any Owner is found abusing, neglecting, or no longer
able to care for his/her Canine, the Breeder will have the right, and duty, to
remove said Canine from the premises, and into a safe and healthy environment.
THEREFORE, I, the applicant, have completed this "ARF Application for Double Registration Addendum", to the very best of my ability and knowledge, and believe that the aforementioned information is true and correct. Further, I thoroughly have read this application, including all of the above "Important Notes", and I am in agreement with the principles set forth. Also, by signing this "ARF Application for Double Registration Addendum", I, the applicant, permit the Animal Research Foundation to research any and all information that has been assigned to this document, as well as the information attached to the "ARF Application for Double Registration".
